Gavin should perform better at Ballroom than Latin and the beginning (albeit looking like he's trying to break Katya's neck) looks calm and controlled. However Katya is right, there isn't much emotion showing, though it's good to see him smiling throughout.
A sweet performance that I'm struggling to mark, not quite a 7 but a high 6 I'd say.

Yes, surprisingly I thought it was sweet too. If he loses his self consciousness, he might go quite far in the competition. Perhaps they will send him to acting classes as they did with some former contestants.
